Our recent visit to Dubai focused on exploring sustainability opportunities in the Middle East. During our time there, we engaged with key stakeholders interested in the development and implementation of carbon credit programs. This meeting provided a platform for discussing how innovative approaches can contribute to the region’s environmental and economic goals.

In these discussions, we presented insights from our recent experience in Senegal, where we successfully developed a carbon credit platform. The platform not only supported local communities but also aligned with international sustainability standards. By leveraging this experience, we identified pathways to adapt similar frameworks for application in Dubai and the broader Middle East region.

The exchange of ideas emphasized the potential of carbon credits as a tool for advancing sustainability in the region. Collaborative efforts between public and private sectors, supported by robust technological platforms, were highlighted as critical to ensuring effective implementation.
