On June 21, we participated in a business networking reception at the Dutch Embassy in Sri Lanka. We were present there with Rob Heijtink, Edward van Beek and our local partners Rifkhan Siddeek and . Saliya Rajakuna.

From the embassy the following persons were present: Ambassador Bonnie Horbach

  • Deputy Ambassador Anouk Baron
  • Senior Economic Advisor Shanila Athulathmudali
  • Senior Agricultural Advisor Nishan Dissanayake

There was a guest speaker from VERITE Research who gave us a good overview of the current state of the Sri Lankan economy. They expect a speedy recovery of the Sri Lankan economy and one expects many new innovative business models. In addition, they are very much looking forward to cooperation with Dutch companies, among others. UPVolt is working together with a sister company and with the PWER.ME foundation on an infrastructure for electric vehicles. This includes the construction of solar panels for energy generation, batteries for storage and for electric two and three wheelers.

It is possible for anyone to invest in this network in Srilanka through the platform of PWER.ME. For more information, please contact us.

We gained many new contacts and thus another very useful and enjoyable evening.
